INVESTMENT DIRECTOR

Role Overview:

Lumens Capital Partners is seeking an Investment Director to lead the origination, execution, and management of private capital investments. The Investment Director is a ‘standard setter’ in the organisation, a leader of people, and ‘culture carrier’ facing into the market.

Role Location:

• London

Responsibilities:

• Lead deal origination efforts and network development across multiple international jurisdictions
• Lead the evaluation of prospective investment opportunities and the preparation of investment memoranda for Investment Committee meetings
• Lead due diligence workstreams on prospective investments
• Lead negotiation and drafting of investment documents
• Lead operational support and execution of value creation objectives through the investment period
• Lead investment exit workstreams and related negotiations

Requirements:

• Approximately 10 years of direct investment experience, preferably in private equity or growth equity, with proven experience leading investments, supporting their operational success, and curating successful exits
• Demonstrable extensive professional network
• High technical proficiency in negotiating transactions and  managing key stakeholders
• High technical proficiency in one or all of the facets of investment due diligence, including commercial, financial, legal, operational, and technological
• High technical proficiency in desktop publishing and financial modelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-rounded leadership skills engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders
• High-energy, self-motivated, and proactive team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent analytical and inter-personal skills
